Thanks for checking us out! We are Sydney Douglass and Nic Favela, Orange County based creatives who capture love at all stages. Our love story actually began in a specialty film photography class where our shared passion for documenting blossomed. We love all things vintage, tactile, and the entire process of shooting film. From the intentional, decisive moment to press the shutter, the blending of chemicals to reveal those moments in light sensitive emulsion, to making physical prints on unique papers. When you hire us, you're not only getting a pair of passionate photographers, but ones who have devoted their lives to this thing called photography, and we simply can't get enough!
When not creating, you can find us thrifting, spending time by the ocean, catching sunsets, cooking, visiting local coffee shops, listening to music, hanging with family, exploring new places with our cameras, or planning our next adventure!

We were both raised here in beautiful, sunny Southern California. We grew up near the ocean, and that's where we love to spend our free time!

Our Relationship with photography
Not only is photography our profession, but it is also our hobby, our creative outlet for self expression. We both have been shooting photos for almost half our lives, and we love using our cameras as tools to creatively capture and preserve other people's unique stories.

Attending photography school, we honed our skills in both digital and film photography, learning everything from the physics & technicalities of cameras, composition, technical lighting, post production, retouching, and advanced printing. We love to nerd out on all things cameras & light!

Fun fact, we are not only still photographers, but we also work in the film industry, and are frequently on & off set, working on various commercial projects in production and post-production. This allows us to bring various industry skills to the table when capturing your special day.
